About the Conference
Every day we are bombarded with news articles, press releases, and emails informing us of new developments in Biofuels, Biomass, and Bioenergy. Following up on the highly successful LSU AgCenter’s Louisiana Natural Resources Symposium held in July 2009, for this conference we focus on two areas: Wood and Louisiana. Accordingly, the topics and sessions of the conference include policy, management and utilization issues that are highly relevant to anyone that is currently or potentially involved in the wood-based bio movement in Louisiana. The conference features speakers that will discuss a wide spectrum of issues and topics ranging from the fundamentals of wood-based bio to applied, real-world cases and examples from practitioners. The target audience includes utilities, investors, entrepreneurs, Louisiana forest land managers and owners, pulp & paper industry professionals, policymakers, academicians and others interested or involved in this emerging area.
